Social Installations: The Road Trip, a reality-based docuseries, follows four female creatives who design a road trip that launches on Gabriola Island and ventures from Vancouver through the Okanagan to the Kootenays. 

Their mission? To cultivate creative agency through everyday interactions. 

Each artist has chosen a destination and a public "social installation" to enact, a collaborative, intentional creative act that welcomes others to join in.

The brainchild of writer, performance artist, and PhD student in creativity studies, Danika Dinsmore, the series incorporates podcasting, social media, and documentary film making. During the podcast, the four women planned a road trip in real time, without discussing any of it beforehand. Across the episodes, each reveals her ideas as they discuss how creativity shapes their lives within the context of their own personal stories.
