With over 20 years of experience, Rachel Therrien blends traditional Latin jazz with a bold and modern vision, bringing the best of New York, Montreal and Havana. Québec-born trumpeter, composer, and producer Rachel Therrien stands out for her bold voice that fuses tradition with modernity. With Mi Hogar II (2025), eight solo albums, four as a producer, and over 40 collaborations as a guest trumpeter, she has developed a unique musical language that transcends borders. She has performed with legends such as Arturo O’Farrill and Ron Carter, and is a key member of the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, The Ostara Project, and the DIVA Jazz Orchestra. She also shares her passion as an educator through programs such as Jazz House Kids, directed by Christian McBride.
