Syd Bosel is very excited to be back to see us! After touring all over the Maritime Provinces, she is bringing her "Hot Flash Comedy" show to Gabriola. Syd is a professional, touring comic and comedic storyteller and just a nice person, that pours your life out onto the stage. If you missed her last time, you'd better get tickets! If you saw her last time...you'd better get tickets!! Syd will be hosting touring Headliner, Cathy Boyd, special guest, Bobbie Williams and of course, Gabriola's very own comedian, Scarlet Chen. Scarlet Chen - a filmmaker from China. New immigrant. She made her way into stand-up comedy by accident. But having opened the pandora’s box, she has released something unusual in her inner self and become a tiny force in the island comedy scene. Opened for Maria Bamford, seen at LA Burbank Comedy Festival. Bobbie Williams, Bobbie’s comedic style is a combination of observational, personal with a dash of poor taste.  There is something for everyone.. Headliner, Cathy Boyd is a Toronto based brutally honest stand-up comedian whose debut album, Wise Tracks, was released in June, 2020. Known for her dry demeanor and punchline-heavy hitting, her act impresses audiences everywhere. Her most recent notable credit includes an appearance on Season One of Canada’s Got Talent, where Howie Mandell remarked, “You are very funny.  You have found your calling.” She can be heard on CBC Radio, Laugh Out Loud and Sirius XM Radio, Just For Laughs and She’s So Funny. In January, 2019, Cathy was crowned Comedian of the North.
