Jacques Lalonde shares the magic of dragons through stories and songs in an energetic, joyous one-person show that will have audiences singing along, clapping and dancing in their seats. And maybe... you might even see a dragon!

An award-winning actor and the only person to ever be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Vancouver Fringe, Jaques is a beloved storyteller, performer and all around great guy. Over the years, he has performed for over 2 million people across Canada and his plays have been produced internationally. A major highlight for Jacques was hosting at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Jacques has performed extensively with Greenthumb Theatre and Carousel Theatre for Young People.

He has taught comedy, creative process and writing for over 25 years. Currently he teaches French to 2-5 year olds at several Montessori schools in the Vancouver area.

Gabriola Theatre Centre is delighted to partner with The Nanaimo Fringe Festival as a satellite venue, bringing five great Fringe Festival shows to the Isle of the Arts. Featuring comedy, clown, circus, stand-up, LGTBTQ2S+, family theatre and a theatrical folk-rock poem, the festival includes something for everyone!
